Seven golden keys for instant self-realisation
A powerful method to transform obstacles mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually
When by chance the infinitely cackling, stressful thoughts fall silent and I am introduced to the ego and the confusing Mind games, a great gift reveals itself.
With unprecedented clarity, I experience that thoughts like not-good-enough, desires, jealousy, misunderstanding, judgements, fear, anger, loneliness, arrogance, illness and pain keep me stuck in a wheel of unnecessary suffering. In this “depth”, I discover that it is not my thoughts that cause misery, but the identification with the content of my thoughts. Because of this identification with my (mostly) negative thoughts, I had come to believe that they are the basis of who I am.
“Man’s ultimate desire is to discover who he essentially is. To discover that behind and deeper than masks, roles and conditioning is a timeless loving presence.”
“It often feels like there are thousands of thoughts racing around in my head.
Sighing, I long for a button that allows me to turn off my thoughts. Then one day, at last, during one of my daily meditations, I discover this off-switch.”
The calmness and clarity that result help me to dive deeper into myself with a joyous feeling of coming home where I belong. In this precious place I meet all the confusing Mind games like desire, incomprehension, loneliness, pain, projections, judgements, fear, anger, sickness, jealousy, the sense of not being good enough… and above all, the incessant background chatter of my stressful thoughts. In this inner depth I discover that it is not actually my thoughts that cause my distress; rather it is my identification with the content of my thoughts that causes all the trouble. By identifying with my negative thoughts, I actually believed that they formed the basis of who I thought I was. And it was precisely that belief that caused me to lose contact with my divine essence.
Deeper than thinking, deeper than feeling is who you really are
You are not your emotions, not your thoughts. Not even your body. And somewhere deep inside you know that. The war in your head, the fretting and doubt will end as soon as you stop looking for a cause and solution to your ‘problems’ and the fulfilment of your desires. Through meditation and self-examination, you will discover that identification with your thoughts – negative as well as positive – cause unnecessary suffering. Many people are plagued by thoughts with the same recurring themes. The most common thoughts concern unprocessed experiences. Out of these comes the need for affirmation, attention, love, appreciation, respect, freedom, happiness, faith and meaning. But also the craving for power, violence, sex, money and revenge. All these ‘needy’ thoughts are addictive and focused on the Mind’s survival. And the Mind is not who you really are.
Insight into the Mind
Desire, hope, belief, greed, ignorance are the source of suffering. Impressions (hearing, seeing, smelling, feeling, tasting) during the day, continue during sleep. This circle continuously continues and causes unnecessary suffering. Awareness of these states is the only chance to stop the wheel of unnecessary suffering.
This book invites you to open new dimensions in your consciousness through which you gain insight into the games of your Mind, ego and dysfunction. It cuts straight through your illusionary thoughts like a sword and enables you to experience the eternal essence of your true self. The texts give you the keys and show you how to live your life from authenticity. The accompanying, practical exercises teach you how to radically transform your destructive thoughts and develop your positive qualities. As a result, you will be able to live a conscious, fulfilling and joyful life in love, compassion and freedom, regardless of your situation.
This book is designed to open new dimensions in your consciousness so that you gain insight into the games your Mind plays – insight into your ego and your dysfunctional behaviour patterns. The texts give you the keys and show you how you can live your life based on authenticity. Practical, straightforward and effective exercises help you open the door to who you really are.
This book is structured around seven chapters (Seven Golden Keys), the basis of which consists of three pillars: Mind, No-Mind, Truth Is. The seven chapters contain a total of 49 sutras (short, profound texts drawn from the lineage of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha).
You will discover answers to questions such as:
- Who am I?
- What is the purpose of birth and death?
- How do I know if I’m dreaming or am awake?
- What is consciousness?
- What is religion – and what or who is God?
- What is ‘inner alchemy’?
- What is truth?
- How can I live from my heart?
- What is my buddha nature?
- What is Mind and what is ego?
- How can I stop my thoughts?
- What is meditation?
- How can I help my potential to flourish?
And of course a lot more besides!
The answers will surprise and liberate you!
From the moment you discover that all the answers are already present within you, you start flourishing! Just compare with how a seed awaits the right conditions before it begins to sprout… You become more conscious simply by integrating the fact that you are not your thoughts. You may choose
to believe your thoughts, but even that is not necessary.
Freedom from drama
As you’ll discover, both past and future are a dream, an illusion. Suffering is caused by your thoughts, by the mental picture you create of past and future.
You will embark on the greatest adventure in your life when you start meditating and experimenting with the key messages contained in the sutras.
You will discover how false the dramas are that you have created and that keep you imprisoned.
Above all, you will realise and experience that true bliss can only be enjoyed when you let go of all feelings, desires, hope, beliefs and expectations. You will then experience that there is an unborn, timeless, undying consciousness that has always existed and will always continue to exist.
The chattering of your Mind will be calmed and you will experience joyous contact with your essence.
You’re on the brink of discovering the ultimate truth of a state beyond the Mind: the state of No-Mind.
My wish is that this book may contribute to the love, honour, respect, peace and freedom of all beings. That all may awaken to the truth that we are. Proceeds from the book will be used to support this mission.
